Red-figure ceramics of Volterran production
In Tomb III, several red-figure ceramic vessels were discovered, produced in the workshops of Volterra between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. Among them, a krater decorated with armed pygmies is attributed to the workshop of the "Painter of Hesione," while another piece is linked to the "Painter of the Tuscan Column," named for the depiction of this architectural element on both sides of the vessel. Additionally, a small amphora, of unknown authorship, stands out for its Ionic columns and an Etruscan inscription.
